Step 1: Select “Tools” menu
First of all, you need to select the “Tools” menu. You can find this at the top of the home page of internet explorer 6, 7 or 8. If you are using internet explorer 9 then you can find “Tools” option by clicking/taping on the “gear” icon at the right hand side of the home page of your browser.
Step 2: Select “Internet Options” from the drop down
Now when you can see a drop sown menu when you click/tap on “Tools”. Select “Internet Options” at the bottom of this drop down menu. Internet explorer 9 and higher ones are a bit different in appearance of option. “Internet options” is at 2nd last number in internet explorer 9 and higher.
Step 3: Select the “Security” tap
Now a window will appear on screen and you could see different tabs there. Here you need to select the “Security” tab.
Step 4: Select “Custom Level” option
Step 5: Select the section “Scripting”
By selecting “custom level” some more options will appear there. You need to scroll down and click or tap on “scripting” section. Further there will be some sub sections inside scripting.
Step 6: Select “Active Scripting” and click/tap “Enable”
Step 7: Return to Browser’s Homepage
Then finally press “OK” button to save changes you made.
After confirming this internet explorer will ask you again if you sure you want to make these changes in your browser. Just press “Yes”. Now you are back to the “internet options” window. Press “OK” to close and return to your browser’s home page.
